Some travel agents take advantage of these rates and use them as discounts for their own travel and have saved MILLIONS of dollars in the past with just this method alone.

Though not spoken of often, this is an incredible discount program accessible to IATAN card holders. Again, this program is EARNED and not given, so here are the facts direct from IATA: Airlines require proof that you are a bona fide travel professional in order to be eligible for reduce rate or AD75 discount travel. Many airlines accept the IATA/IATAN ID Card and / or copy of an IATA/IATAN Personnel List as an industry credential to validate eligibility for travel concessions.
